You've sat in therapy. You've meditated. You've read the books, taken the courses, maybe tried plant medicine or a weekend retreat that cracked something open. You understand yourself better than most people you know.
And still.
You wake up feeling stuck, dysregulated, disconnected from your body, from something you can't quite name.
There's stress, too much stress. A pattern that knows itself and keeps repeating anyway. A nervous system that won't fully settle, even when your life looks calm from the outside. A quiet, persistent sense that something more is available to you - something deeper, freer, more alive - if you only knew the door.
You're not broken. You're not stuck because you haven't tried hard enough. You're at the place where talking stops being enough.
This is where the breath comes in.
WHY BREATH, AND WHY NOW
The breath is the bridge between the body that holds what you've lived through and the mind that thinks about it. It bypasses analysis and goes straight to the place words can't reach.
When the breath is guided with skill, in a held container, with care for what arises, it can:
· Move you out of survival physiology and back into your body
· Surface emotional material that's been stored beyond the reach of cognition
· Create the kind of present-moment clarity that meditation reaches for, often more quickly
· Open access to altered, transcendent states, the territory psychology has long avoided and is only now beginning to study seriously
Research on conscious connected breathwork is still young, but it's growing. My own master's research found that participants didn't just feel calmer after a series of sessions, they reported significantly greater emotional clarity, a different relationship to stress, and a return to their bodies after years of disconnection. They didn't experience less stress. They experienced more capacity to meet it.
That's the work we'll do together.
I COME TO YOU
When real material moves through the body, you shouldn't have to drive home afterward.
Most breathwork happens in studios. You arrive, the work cracks something open, and then, usually within an hour, you're navigating subway stairs or driving over a bridge, trying to look composed, putting yourself back together in public. The depth you accessed leaks out through the reentry.
I built this practice differently. I come to you. I arrive at your door with everything we need, music, eye mask, the quiet attention of someone whose only job in this window is to hold space for you. You lie down in your own bed, on your own floor, in the space where your body already feels at home. When the session ends, you're already where you need to be. No driving. No reentry. Rest and integration.
It changes the work. The body trusts the space. Material that might take three sessions to surface in a studio can surface in one, because your nervous system isn't holding the extra layer of being-somewhere-unfamiliar. And what you uncover stays with you, woven into the rooms where you live.
This is breathwork as it was meant to be received: privately, completely, in the only space that's truly yours.
THE JOURNEY
This isn't a drop-in session for stress relief. It isn't a single peak experience you forget by Tuesday. It's a structured journey designed to do what one-off sessions can't: build capacity over time, integrate what surfaces, and leave you with a practice that continues after our work together ends.
The arc is based on a pattern I observed across my research and my practice, a movement I came to call the Healing Path.

Intake

A full conversation: your history, your nervous system, what you've worked with before, what you're carrying now. This is where my psychology training sits in the room with us. No breathwork yet - just the foundation of being known.

Foundation & First Breath

We move from conversation into practice. I'll teach you the mechanics of conscious connected breathing, then guide you through your first full Spiritus session. Gentle by design. We're meeting your body together, not pushing it.

Activation

With the foundation in place, we go deeper. This session works with the part of the practice that initiates sympathetic activation, where breath begins to surface what's been held. Your body knows the technique now, so we can let it take you further. We end with space for sharing.

Integration

A softer, longer session designed to consolidate what's beginning to move. Slower pacing, more rest, more space to feel. What surfaces in breathwork matters more than the experience itself, and this session honors that. We move at a pace that lets the work land. We end with space for sharing.

Deepening

The second intensive. By now, your nervous system trusts the practice and trusts me. This is often where the deepest material surfaces, and where the deepest shifts happen. We meet whatever arises with steadiness. We end with space for sharing.

Final Intensive & Integration

Your last full breathwork journey, followed by extended integration time within the same session. We bring together everything that's moved over the arc: what's been released, what's still asking for attention, what's newly available to you. We end with space for sharing.

Closure & Protocol Design

Our final conversation. We reflect on the arc together: what's changed, what surprised you, what you're taking with you. I then design your personalized ongoing practice: a daily breathing protocol shaped to your specific nervous system, along with a custom recording you'll have for life. You leave with the tools to keep walking the path on your own.
Between sessions, you have direct access to me by text or voice message for questions, for support when something stirs between sessions, for small course corrections. This isn't a chat service. It's part of the container.
BODYWORK AS PART OF THE BREATH
During each session, where you've consented in advance, I work with light, intentional touch: a tap on the diaphragm to direct the breath, steady pressure on the shoulders when tension is accumulating, a hand on the heart when the mind needs to land. This isn't massage. It's presence delivered through touch, exactly where and when your body is asking.
Many clients describe the bodywork as the part of the practice that moves what nothing else has reached. The body remembers being held. When emotion is surfacing through the breath and touch meets it, something profound shifts. You're no longer doing it alone.
Touch is always consent-based, always discussable, always optional. We'll talk through your preferences in our first session and continue to check in throughout the arc.

A NOTE ON SAFETY
Conscious connected breathwork is a powerful practice. The physiological intensity that makes it effective - sympathetic activation, altered states, deep emotional access - is also what makes thoughtful screening essential. Part of my training is knowing when this work isn't the right fit, and I take that responsibility seriously.
Before we begin, we'll go through your full medical and psychological history on our Clarity Call. The Protocol isn't suitable, or may require clearance from your healthcare provider, if any of the following apply:
· Pregnancy
· High blood pressure
· Diagnosed severe PTSD
· Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis)
· Medications that significantly alter brain chemistry
· Detached retina
· Recent injuries, fractures, or surgeries
· Epilepsy or history of seizures
· History or diagnosis of aneurysms
· Cardiovascular problems or heart disease
· Severe asthma
· Diabetes
· Recent psychiatric hospitalization (within 3 years)
· Other conditions affecting safe physical/emotional release
If any of these apply to you, please consult your healthcare provider before considering this work - and if you're unsure, bring your questions to our call. I'd rather have an honest conversation about fit than enroll someone in work their body or mind isn't ready for.
YOUR GUIDE

I'm a certified Spiritus Breathwork facilitator with over a decade of personal practice in meditation, breathwork, and somatic work. I'm also a researcher: I've completed a master's in psychology with focus on Conscious Connected Breathwork. My thesis research investigated how conscious connected breathwork shapes emotional regulation and stress response.
My work sits at the intersection of clinical psychology and the territory most clinicians won't enter: the body, the breath, altered states, the transcendent dimensions of being human. I take these seriously as both scientific and sacred. You don't have to choose between rigor and depth. I won't ask you to.
I keep my practice small and travel to my clients intentionally. The work asks for everything I have, and offering it this way means each person I work with receives the depth of attention this practice deserves.

Working together from afar
For clients outside Brooklyn and Manhattan, the Spiritus Arc is also available fully online via Zoom. The arc is the same; bodywork becomes guided self-touch - a beautiful practice in its own right.

I take only a small number of 1:1 clients at a time. This is intentional - the work asks for my full presence. If we begin together, you'll have a clearly defined arc with a clean ending, and you'll know exactly what to expect.
